Job Description Job Description Tax Accountant CPA Firm (Remote, Aventura, FL) Location: Aventura area of Miami, FL (Remote with occasional in-office meetings) Type: Permanent / Full-time ARC Group is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a well-established CPA and tax consulting firm based in Aventura, FL . While this role is primarily remote , the ideal candidate should be local enough to attend occasional on-site meetings as needed. Our client is known for its long-standing reputation of excellence and personalized client service. They are looking for a dedicated professional who can prepare a variety of tax returns and contribute to their growing team. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns. Handle general accounting duties, including preparation of general ledger (GL) entries. Calculate and prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments. Conduct year-end accrual reviews and prepare tax provisions. Prepare various personal property and other business tax filings (Annual Reports, Intangible Tax, Sales & Use Tax). Ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Public Accounting or CPA firm (CPA license not required). Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with FastTrack or similar tax software . Proven experience with complex tax preparation , including corporate returns. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Interested? Please send your updated resume to D.A.
