with us! General Purpose of the Job We are seeking an experienced
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with a minimum 2 years verifiable
experience in various diesel engines, hydraulic system and
electrical repairs. The primary responsibility is to ensure the
operational readiness of all truck and heavy equipment. The Mobile
Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible to ensure that all work is
completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner and in compliance
with environmental requirements. Our ideal candidate would be
Reliable, Dependable, and able to work autonomously in a high
stress environment. Job Type: Full-time Required Skills:
Responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, generation of repair
parts list and performing the repair to all company mobile
equipment. Able to work as part of a team and individually to
ensure timely repairs through the use of computer diagnostic tools
and computer-based service and repair software. Able to dismantle,
repair and install parts on various equipment. Must have experience
working on large diesel engine equipment, gasoline engine pickups
as well as small gasoline engines, Trailers, and Heavy Equipment.
Responsible for performing thorough inspections of mobile equipment
while the machine is down for routine service or preventative
maintenance. Must have a working knowledge of hydraulic systems,
the ability to read schematics, perform major welding repairs and
perform repairs on mobile air conditioning systems. Responsible for
reading and understanding assigned work orders and will report
constructive feedback and specific details of repair Responsible
for the housekeeping of the specific task as well as participate in
the housekeeping of the general mobile shop. Must furnish own hand
tools. Large and specialty tools will be provided. Clean driving
record required to drive Company's Service Truck Strong mechanical
aptitude, knowledge and troubleshooting skills Maintain cleanliness
of Shop operations and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Shop Office and Clerical work required. Experience, Technical
Knowledge, and Certifications: 1-2 years of related experience.
Hands on experience with mobile equipment repair, maintenance, and
troubleshooting. Strong mechanical background with experience as a
skilled tradesperson is extremely helpful and necessary in most
instances. Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
