Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available
in Pompano Beach, FL, serving PreK-12 students with diverse
communication needs. This contract position offers the flexibility
to work either as an itinerant SLP across multiple school sites or
to be assigned to a single school location, depending on your
preference. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and
language therapy services to students across the PreK-12 age range.
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to support student
communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress
reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to
the overall educational plan. Qualifications: Masters degree in
Speech-Language Pathology. Full Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) certification. Experience
working with pediatric populations in educational settings is
preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
