Job Title: Operations SupervisorServes as an Operations Supervisor in a terminal or en route facility, responsible for planning and directing operations within delegated areas of responsibility. Provides first-line supervision to a team of Developmental and Certified Professional Controllers.Qualifications:

• Specialized experience is required, defined as:

• Having held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks);
• OR being facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility. Note: An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year in an upgraded ATS facility is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since they have been performing higher-graded work;
• OR holding a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.Applicants must meet all qualifications by the closing date of this announcement.Additional Information:As part of the Federal-Wide Hiring Reform Initiative, the FAA is streamlining the hiring process by eliminating the requirement for Knowledge, Skills, and Ability (KSA) narratives from initial applications.
