Senior Full Stack Developer with AWS (Onsite) We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with AWS with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC Javascript and mySQL. This role requires working from the office during day shifts. No travel is required. Location: Coral Springs -FL USA, CLT/RMT, (Hybrid) Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries using SQL and mySQL
• Use AWS services to enhance application performance and scalability
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code following standard processes
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency to standards
• Fix and debug applications to optimize performance
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing tasks and deadlines effectively
• Communicate effectively with team members to gather requirements and provide updates Qualifications
  • Possess strong experience in AWS services and cloud computing
  • Show strength in SQL and mySQL for database management
  • Have extensive knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC frameworks
  • Show expertise in Javascript for front-end development
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Have a solid understanding of software development standard processes
  • Display strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Preferably have certifications in AWS or Java development
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Have experience with agile methodologies and project management
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges. Certifications Required AWS Certified Developer Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 to $114,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
